Ownership rules for foreigners
100% foreign ownership permitted for CA and SRL companies, subject to mandatory authorization from SAREN (Servicio Autonomo de Registros y Notarias). All incorporations with foreign owners require formal SAREN approval as part of the registration process. Additionally, a local representative resident in Venezuela must be appointed as a mandatory role in the company. For CA form, a comisario (statutory auditor) is also required. Sanctions compliance is paramount — all UBOs must be screened against US, EU, and UK sanctions lists before incorporation.
